Qualifikationen

• Mehrere Jahre Berufserfahrung im Finanzcontrolling oder in der Buchhaltung.
• Sehr gutes Wissen über gängige Controlling-Methoden und Buchhaltungsregeln.
• Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind erforderlich.

Aufgaben

• Koordination und Durchführung der periodischen Abschlüsse (monatlich, quartalsweise, jährlich).
• Management der Planungsprozesse, einschließlich Budgetierung, Forecasting und Schätzung.
• Optimierung von Geschäftsprozessen zur Verbesserung der Effizienz.

For their medical devices Business Unit in Ratingen (with 2 days Home Office/week) we are currently looking for a

Financial Controller (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

• Coordination, execution and reporting of periodical closing (monthly, quarterly, annual) and provide actionable recommendations and analyses on business development
• Manage planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and estimation
• Establish and refine reporting structures for accurate and timely financial insights
• Develop and expand controlling areas (i.e. Sales Controlling, Marketing Controlling and others)
• Planning, coordination, execution internal audit programs (internal control systems) and continuous process improvements
• Participate in discussions on non-routine Transactions/Issues (e.g. new business, new processes etc.)
• Monitor Segregation of duties in critical applications and systems, investigate cases of potential fraud, in conjunction with the SAP Team
• Optimize business processes to improve efficiency and financial transparency
• Lead and implement financial projects and initiatives

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Controlling or similar
• Several years professional experience in financial controlling or accounting
• Very good knowledge of common controlling methods and accounting rules and practices
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Extensive SAP (R/3) knowledge, IBM TM1/Planning Analytics and PowerBI are a plus
• Fluent English and German language skills, both spoken and written are mandatory
