• Perform cost accounting, variance analyses, and ad hoc evaluations with confidence and attention to detail
• Supportandadviseprojectmanagersonplanning,representation,andmonitoringofkeyfinancialindicators
• Accompanyandmonitorcustomerprojects,includingcostplanning,ongoingcalculations,andpost-calculations,ensuringcontinuousprojectmarginanalysis
• Conducttargetvs.actualcomparisons,identifydeviations,andinitiatecorrectiveactionsincollaborationwithrelevantdepartmentstoensuregoalachievement
• Monitorcostbookingsandsupportthecontinuousimprovementofcontrollingprocesses,systems,andcostoptimizationpotential
• Takeanactiveroleinbudgeting,forecasting,andthereportingprocess,includingWIP(workinprogress)valuation,accrualsfortrailingcosts,andpercentage-of-completion(PoC)calculations
• Preparemonthly,quarterly,andannualfinancialstatements
• Assistwiththecreationofmanagementpresentationsanddecision-makingtemplates
• Act as a point of contact for auditors during internal and external audits

Your profile

• Successfullycompletedadegreeineconomics,finance,businessadministration,oracomparablequalification,ideallywithafocusoncontrollingorfinance
• 2+yearsofprofessionalexperienceincontrolling,especiallyprojectorcostcontrolling,withsolidprocessunderstanding
• ConfidenthandlingofMSOfficeapplications,especiallyExcel,andERPsystems(e.g.SAP)
• Strongtechnicalunderstanding,analyticalthinking,andsolution-orientedmindset
• Abilitytoworkindependentlyandtakeinitiative,whilestillbeingastrongteamplayerwithcross-functionalcollaborationskills
• ExcellentcommandofEnglish(writtenandspoken);Germanisastrongadvantagebutnotmandatory;otherlanguageskillsareaplus
• Strongcommunicationskills,adaptability,andwillingnesstolookbeyondone’sownareaofresponsibility
• Willingness to travel, depending on project needs
