Morson Edge (Technology) seeks a proactive Financial Controller to own the logistics cost flow across warehousing, handling, transportation and distribution. You will enable cost transparency by linking expenditures to key operational drivers and lead forecasting, tracking and annual planning of logistics costs.

The role requires a structured, independent working style, strong business partnering with Operations, Logistics, Planning and Procurement, and fluency in German and English.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Financial Controller to take full ownership of the logistics cost flow, encompassing warehousing, handling, transportation, distribution, and related cost allocations. The successful candidate will create cost transparency by linking logistics expenditures to key operational drivers and lead the tracking, forecasting, and annual planning of logistics costs. Responsibilities include analysing variances, challenging assumptions, and initiating corrective actions to optimise financial performance. The role also involves streamlining the month-end closing process, including accruals, reconciliations, and cost allocations.

This position requires close collaboration with Operations, Logistics, Planning, and Procurement teams, providing critical financial insights and constructive challenge. The Financial Controller will support logistics transformation initiatives and contribute to future group controlling topics.

The role demands a structured and independent working style within a dynamic environment, strong business partnering skills, and the confidence to challenge existing processes pragmatically. Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is essential. The role requires working on-site in Eppelheim four days a week.
