Open-Xchange is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their Financial Compliance team. Team info :

You'll be part of our Financial Compliance team. Together with your other team members you'll provide support for all upcoming tasks in financial accounting.

Your new job :

• You'll be involved in all aspects of accounting, including helping prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• You'll take care of account reconciliations – including general ledger, intercompany, and bank accounts – and manage fixed assets.
• You'll handle incoming and outgoing payments, process invoices and travel expenses, and make sure everything's booked correctly.
• You'll set up payment runs and keep the day-to-day payment process running smoothly.
• You'll take care of VAT returns, summary reports, and help put together regular financial reports.
• You'll be the go-to person for external accounting firms working with our subsidiaries.
• You have completed an apprenticeship as a tax clerk or a similar commercial qualification.
• Youbring several years of experience in financial accounting and feel confident handling the tasks mentioned above.
• Youarecomfortable using accounting software and MS Office in your daily work.
• You can effectively communicate in German and English verbally and in writing across all levels.
• You would like to work in an environment without a formal hierarchy and are ready to take ownership for your work.
• You are a team player, proactive, and have an independent way of working.
