Join Our Dynamic Finance Team as a Financial Accountant for Accounts Payable, where you’ll handle important parts of our finance operations. You’ll focus on keeping things running smoothly, improving processes, and growing your skills within an international company. This role offers practical experience in managing accounts payable while working in a supportive and straightforward environment.

You’ll be part of the Finance team, which is at the center of our Business Support Services (BSS) Team at DCMN. This means you’ll regularly work alongside colleagues from Business Intelligence, Legal, People, and IT, taking part in projects that involve different areas of the business. In this role, you'll not only master your domain but also participate in exciting cross-functional projects, giving you a unique perspective on the entire business and fostering incredible team collaboration.

You Will Be Working in:

German and English. Fluency in both is required. Additional languages (e.g., French) are a welcome asset!

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Master Core Accounting:Manage all steps of the accounts payable process, including vendor invoices, employee expenses, credit card and bank transactions.
  • Drive Financial Operations: Oversee daily cash management and payment runs, making sure these align with cash flow forecasts and our group policies.
  • Ensure Flawless Closings: Support with monthly and annual financial closings according to German GAAP (HGB) and assist with annual audits.
  • Manage Tax Compliance: Complete and submit VAT declarations for our German and Dutch entities, following all required tax regulations.
  • Be the AP Point of Contact: Respond to accounts payable questions from vendors and internal teams, including queries about invoices, payments, or policies.
  • Innovate and Improve: Look for ways to improve existing accounting processes and systems in a practical way.
  • Grow and Develop: Take part in our Finance and Business Intelligence job rotation to build new skills and broaden your understanding of the company.

Skills You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • A degree or a successfully completed commercial education in Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • At least 2+ years of relevant work experience in a dynamic financial accounting environment.
  • Solid knowledge of bookkeeping principles under German GAAP (HGB); IFRS knowledge is a plus.
  • A highly organized, independent, and structured work style with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is essential; experience with Microsoft Business Central 365 is a significant advantage.
  • A collaborative spirit and a genuine appreciation for working with diverse, international teams.
