Finance Transformation Consultant (m/w/d)

Your role:

In this role, you will work independently and as part of a team with IT and finance experts to design transformation projects for our clients – from conception and implementation to ongoing support. You will contribute your affinity for digitalization and automation in finance and actively support the optimization and efficiency improvement of our clients’ financial processes.

Your area of responsibility:
- Conducting requirements analyses in close collaboration with finance and IT departments.
- Documentation of business processes, business requirements, and development of a requirements specification to define project goals.
- Development of solution concepts that optimize business processes and support transformation goals.
- Planning, management and monitoring of ERP implementation projects.
- Consulting on the introduction of standardized processes and identification of automation potential.
- Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Preparation and delivery of training courses for finance and end-user teams.
- Support in change management to promote acceptance and understanding of new processes.
What you bring with you:
- Initial practical experience in project work in the field of ERP implementation and/or finance transformation.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, SAP or Oracle.
- Understanding of financial processes and standards (e.g., accounting, controlling, reporting).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to critically examine financial processes.
- Strong communication skills to inform and advise technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate across functions with different departments.
- Independent, structured work style and high personal responsibility.
- Business fluent in German and English.
