mobile.de is Germany's largest vehicle marketplace with about 1.4 million listed cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Both private customers and more than 40,000 registered vehicle dealers use the platform. Including listing exports to the sister platform Kleinanzeigen, mobile.de reaches about 20 million unique users per month (AGMA digital facts; mobile.de and Kleinanzeigen; categories: cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, motorhomes; Ø month April 2022 to March 2023). As a "one-stop shop," mobile.de offers not only buying and selling services but also financing and leasing solutions, among others.

We're looking for an Finance Operations Partner (d/f/m) to join our Financial Accounting & Controlling Team.

You will report to the local Teamlead Finance Operations, mobile.de. This is a hybrid role (2-3 office days/week), and our office is based in Berlin Charlottenburg.

What you'll do

• Oversee full operational handling of mobile.de’s Purchase to Pay process
• Be sparing partner for our budget managers and support their purchasing process including vendor set up, contract processing, PO set up as well as invoice processing & payment
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Process financial transactions, including accounts payable
• Manage overall budget spending including Actual versus Plan analysis with one of our main departments
• Master contract creation in cooperation with the business budget owner, procurement and legal department
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
• Support budget preparation and forecasting activities
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve financial discrepancies
• Assist in implementing and improving financial processes and controls
• Monitor compliance with financial policies and regulations

Your skill profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications as well as Google Workspace
• Demonstrate ability to partner with the different levels in the organisation and external stakeholders
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• (Very) Good German (min. B2) and English skills in writing and speaking
