Cobalt Deutschland is seeking a Finance Manager in Berlin to lead the Group Finance team, prepare annual financial statements under HGB, and oversee liquidity and budgeting. The role combines leadership with hands-on accounting and process optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a formal accounting qualification (IHK), experience with NetSuite, and fluency in German and English. The position offers flexible hours and an option to work from home up to two days per week.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and technically review annual and interim financial statements under HGB while supporting bookkeeping.
• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the Group Finance team (2 employees) including capacity planning and development.
• Assess complex accounting and tax matters within the group and support audits (financial and tax).
• Optimize accounting processes and enhance the ERP landscape (NetSuite) to automate workflows.
• Manage liquidity, assess financial risks, and contribute to budget planning and variance analyses.
• Coordinate with CFO, tax advisors, Controlling, and group companies.

Our client is part of a corporate group founded over 20 years ago. The company is a market-leading specialist in retail and commercial property management, with a portfolio that includes some of Germany's leading retail parks. Alongside building and maintaining tenant relationships, the company places particular emphasis on sustainability. As part of its continued development, we are looking for a Finance Manager on behalf of our client.

• Prepare and technically review annual and interim financial statements in accordance with HGB while supporting ongoing bookkeeping
• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the Group Finance team (2 employees), including capacity planning, onboarding and employee development
• Assess complex accounting and tax matters in the context of the group and support financial statement audits and tax audits
• Optimize accounting processes and further develop the system landscape functionally (especially NetSuite) to automate processes
• Manage liquidity, assess financial risks and contribute to budget planning and variance analyses
• Actively manage interfaces with the CFO, tax advisors, Controlling and group companies

Требования:

• Completed vocational training plus further training in balance sheet accounting (IHK), or a comparable university degree specializing in accounting, taxation or Controlling
• Professional experience independently preparing annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, as well as expertise in the accounting of corporations and partnerships, including tax law
• Experience leading and developing a team, as well as expertise in liquidity planning
• Confident user of MS Excel and modern ERP systems; NetSuite knowledge preferred
• Fluent German and English (at least C1 level, spoken and written)
