Are you a driven and dynamic Finance Manager looking for your next challenge? Then this could be the role for you! We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our client's team in Frankfurt, Germany.

Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for the financial control of German offices, managing local financial control, treasury, statutory reporting, reconciliations, and taxation compliance.
  2. Collaborate with the wider group finance team based in Europe and the US to support group reporting, partner finances, cross-border taxes, and budgeting, as well as providing financial support to the German Office Managing Partners.
  3. Manage the German Finance team of six, including three accounting specialists and three billing specialists, ensuring the accuracy of daily, monthly, and annual reporting.
  4. Assist in identifying opportunities and leading process improvements and efficiencies, along with managing other finance-related projects.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned to support the wider team, adapting to the business needs.
Who We Are Looking For
  1. At least 5 years of experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within legal services or other professional services organizations.
  2. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  3. Strong people and project management skills, with the ability to adapt work styles for multiple time-sensitive projects.
  4. Confident and professional approach, with excellent communication skills to build trust-based relationships with stakeholders.
  5. Problem solver, delivery-focused, compliance-aware, and capable of managing and developing a high-performing team.
