Overview
A very exciting opportunity to join the private equity-owned (under LBO) Group Alliance Marine (https://www.alliancemarine.fr/en/). Alliance Marine has grown into an industrial group of companies deeply rooted in the recreational boating and commercial marine sectors
Our core activity rests on two strategic pillars:
- designing, developing, and manufacturing proprietary products such as safety at sea and rescue equipment
- Distributing boat fit-out and maintenance complete solutions for which the group's affiliates team up with leading brands
The German branch of Alliance Marine is composed of two companies:
- Bukh Bremen (Bremen) -19m€ of annual sales
- 12seemeilen (Cologne) -7m€ of annual sales
Alliance Marine Germany is looking for a dynamic and promising talent, working closely with the 2 operating entities abovementioned on all finance related matters, and in partnership with the France-based central finance team. This position is planned to be based in Bremen or Cologne, and will require frequent travels to the other entity.

Key accountabilities
- Lead and manage the finance function across German entities
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to Group and stakeholders, including monthly reporting and analysis
- Partnering with Bukh Bremen and 12seemeilen Managing Directors and operations to drive performance and cost efficiency
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Management control of the perimeter, including sales, margin and stock monitoring
- Supervision of accounting, payroll, legal
- Lead and develop a small team of finance professionals
- Cash management and improvement
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and group policies
- Link between the local finance teams and the central finance team of the Group (France)
- Ad-hoc projects
Profile, requirements and skills
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally in a multi-entity, international environment
- Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach
- We look after a high calibre profile able to step up rapidly within the organization
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance
- Management experience will be appreciated
- Strong knowledge of German accounting standards, tax, and regulatory frameworks
- Finance and business-orientated profile
- Fluent in German and English, French would be a plus
- Based in or willing to relocate to Bremen or Cologne
- Frequent travels will be required to carry out this mission to visit the various Germany based affiliates (20% of your time)
- Proficiency with MS Office required (advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint) and ideally PBI
- High level of flexibility, reliability
- Ability to synthetize data and consistent attention to detail
- Autonomy and self-drive will be key in a relatively decentralized organisation

Salary 90-125K€ upon profile and experience
