Now, we’re looking for a Finance Director – EMEA Lead who loves building from the ground up, is naturally curious, and enjoys solving complex financial challenges. In this role, you’ll lead and grow our EMEA financial operations, playing a key part in shaping Medit’s next phase of regional growth.

• Global Collaboration: Partner with the HQ Finance and Commerce Teams in Seoul, Korea, working closely with executives worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all EMEA finance operations, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
• Deliver accurate, timely financial reports to HQ in Korea and regional leadership.
• Ensure compliance with German GAAP, IFRS, and other regional accounting/tax regulations.
• Oversee monthly and annual financial close processes, including tax filings (VAT, CIT, Trade Tax).
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the region.
• Handle cash flow, payroll, and operational finance tasks.
• Lead audits, tax inspections, and liaise with external advisors and authorities.
• Support consolidated financial reporting and global audits in coordination with HQ.
• Act as a key advisor to commercial leadership on financial strategy, risks, and opportunities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent is a strong plus.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally in an international or EMEA regional role.
• Deep expertise in German accounting, tax, and compliance.
• Proven ability to work independently and build finance operations from the ground up.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in both English and German (written and spoken).
• Ability to work from our Frankfurt office; hybrid flexibility may be discussed.
