Job description and tasks:

For the location Oberkochen or Aalen we are looking for a Finance Business Partner Ground Based Systems (m/f/d).

Home office 1-2 days per week possible after training and by arrangement.

The Finance Business Partner acts as a co-pilot and is the driving force behind the financial performance of the project/program/division. He is also responsible for the commercial part of all company offers and ensures coordination between all parties involved and the customer.

The Finance Business Partner is the first point of contact and competent discussion partner for the project/program manager and has the task of bringing together the different perspectives. He acts both as an internal consultant and as a sparring partner for the project/program manager and is valued for his partnership-based communication and his trusting relationship with the contact persons.

Tasks:

• Sparring partner and co-pilot for the project and financial support for the project manager on financial aspects
• Planning and processing of projects with high complexity, focusing on milestones, financial project management, definition of target costs, monitoring of costs, including opportunities and risks, and maintaining contact with customers
• Responsibility for commercial reporting on the project in the relevant committees (EAC)
• Monitoring the fulfillment of the contract and, if necessary, the performance of subcontractors
• Preparation and negotiation of offers or contracts with high contractual complexity
• Preparation of complex transversal calculations for internal bid and project approval (RMC), and preparation of price details for the commercial offer

Degree programme: Comparable qualification at least Bachelor's degree programme or Business administration at least Bachelor's degree programme

IT: MS-Excel min. detailed specialised knowledge; MS-Office min. detailed specialised knowledge; SAP min. detailed specialised knowledge; General experience in project management with regard to tools and frameworks (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum) required.

Language skills: German at least business fluent; English at least business fluent.

Professional experience: Extensive professional experience in the financial sector as well as experience in commercial project management in complex contractual and customer-related environments required. Knowledge of the financial areas (treasury, accounting, taxes, controlling) with a deep understanding of the interfaces between the finance departments required. Knowledge of (inter)national contract law and experience in complex contract negotiations required.
