As the Finance Business Partner, you will provide strategic financial leadership and play a pivotal role in steering the direction of a fast-growing business. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will drive financial planning, risk management, and governance, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and supporting the company’s ambitious growth plans.
You will oversee all aspects of financial management, including compliance, tax, treasury, and reporting, and act as a critical interface with the Global Capability Centre in India and the parent company in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring alignment with overall corporate strategy.
- Oversee all finance, accounting, tax, and compliance functions for the German business, ensuring alignment with local and Group requirements.
- Serve as the principal point of contact for the Global Capability Centre (India) and Clinisupplies Group finance teams to ensure timely, accurate reporting, consolidation, and compliance for German operations.
- Support cash flow and treasury operations to ensure timely payment of all statutory and commercial obligations
- Prepare and report accounts and related management information systems to key internal and external stakeholders
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor operational metrics for various business verticals.
- Partner with the Managing Director(s) to develop the Annual Business Plan in conjunction with other members of the Senior Management Team; monitor performance of each function against the Annual Business Plan.
- Assess and manage the principal risks of businesses in relation to tax, finance and financial operations
- Establish policies that promote the company culture and vision
- Drive forward continuous improvement within Finance and across all areas of responsibility
- Manage relationships with external providers and global partners to ensure cost effective and efficient activities are delivered to global standards
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in a senior finance leadership position, ideally within the healthcare, medtech, or regulated sectors in Germany.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering high-quality results in a complex, fast-paced SME environment.
- Knowledge of accounting policies in German GAAP (knowledge of IFRS will be an added plus)
- Demonstrated experience managing audits, risk, governance, and regulatory relationships in Germany.
- Strategic and commercial mindset, with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in financial systems and large-scale ERP platforms (SAP preferred)
- Chartered Accountant, Management Accountant, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Fluent in both German and Business English.
