The Finance Business Partner will work in the German office and be part of a virtual, international Finance team.
You will be responsible for supporting local functions, especially the sales business, with a focus on Finance Operations.

Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese language skills will be advantageous.

Finance Business Partner RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing invoice payments processing
• Supporting sales management as a strategic partner in decision-making
• Co-developing business cases and evaluating new sales initiatives
• Monitoring accounts payable and receivable
• Scheduling payment plans and settling payments
• Handling special or complex transactions, including foreign transfers
• Managing invoice payment alerts and reminders
• Preparing credit analyses
• Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and financial reporting
• Supporting European and local financial planning, forecasting, ad-hoc reporting, and analysis
• Ensuring data integrity for financial KPIs
• Participating in business reviews with stakeholders
• Delivering ad-hoc analysis for management decisions
• Supporting financial audits

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Professional qualifications in finance
• Ability to manage stakeholders and work with virtual teams
• Cross-functional experience in corporate and operational finance
• Experience as a Finance Business Partner with a focus on sales operations in an international B2B environment
• Good knowledge of accounting standards (HGB, US GAAP, IFRS) and understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow)
• Team player with a proactive attitude
• Proficient in standard IT systems
• Ability to work independently and drive performance
• Strong communication skills at all organizational levels
• Business fluent in German and English; Japanese language skills are a plus
