Westinghouse Electric Company in Mannheim is seeking a Field Technician IV – Bolt Product to operate bolt replacement equipment, troubleshoot, and support outages worldwide. On site you will be the tool operator, ensure correct bolt removal and installation, and follow nuclear-grade procedures.

The role requires five years of field service experience with bolt equipment, ability to read mechanical drawings, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifikationen

• Five years of experience operating and maintaining bolt replacement equipment or similar field service equipment.
• At least five jobs worldwide as a tool operator during bolt replacement jobs (Baffle or Clevis).
• Basic knowledge of computers, software installation, and networking.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrotechnical aptitude.
• Ability to read technical documentation (mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, procedures).
• English proficiency: minimum A2; B1 or higher preferred.
• Local language proficiency (Germany, Spain, Belgium): native level or C1/C2 equivalent.

About the Role

As a Field Technician IV – Bolt Product you will be responsible for the correct operation of baffle and clevis bolt equipment used during nuclear power plant outages worldwide. The role includes equipment troubleshooting, remote‑controlled tool operation, on‑site execution, maintenance and close collaboration with shift/jump leads. On site the experienced technician will act as tool operator and is responsible for the correct usage of equipment and following processes to remove and install bolts correctly. You will guide platform work through the process using headsets. You will report to the Manager NDE & Special Products and be located at Mannheim.
