Zusammenfassung

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Mannheim seeks a Temporary Technician to join our operations team. You will report to the Operations Manager - SGP ENIQ ASME and work on-site at nuclear power plants worldwide, performing repair, commissioning and testing of specialized machinery.

Requirements: at least 5 years as a skilled worker, German native or C1/C2, English at least A2 with higher preferred, basic computer/network knowledge and a technical mindset. NDT certifications are a welcome asset.

Qualifikationen

• Min. 5 years of experience as a skilled worker in the trained profession.
• German (spoken and written): native speaker or C1/C2 level
• English (spoken and written): min. A2; B1 or higher preferred
• Basic knowledge of computers and networks
• Technical aptitude
• Solution-oriented mindset
• NDT certifications (VT, UT, PT, ET, etc.) are a welcome asset

Aufgaben

• Repair and maintenance of specialized machinery, primarily remote-controlled (milling, drilling, EDM, bolting, etc.)
• Commissioning and testing of newly developed machines
• Supporting product/development engineers during the testing phase of new machines (e.g., parameter development)
• Installing software on computers and control systems, including network setup
• Operating specialized equipment on-site at nuclear power plants worldwide
• Manufacturing and modifying machine components (electrical or mechanical)
• Machine assembly
• Working across departments and international borders
