Job Description:

The ADI Centre of Excellence handles technical support for our customers, offering pre- and post-sales support for over 300 products made by 15 to 20 different vendors, covering all aspects of Fire & Security. We are looking for a motivated Technical Field Service Technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability.

Job Duties:
  1. Work with the internal technical team to offer support to customers and sales.
  2. Work closely with Field Sales & Key Accounts to provide customers with value-added technical services for CCTV, IP Video, & Access Control:
  3. Site Surveys
  4. Technical Product Demonstrations
  5. Develop & Deliver classroom-based training courses
  6. Pre-configuration
  7. Post-sales technical support both remote & onsite
  8. Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
  9. Support onsite installations in person or remotely
  10. Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  11. Produce timely and detailed service reports
  12. Follow all company’s field procedures and protocols
  13. Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
  14. Understand customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
  15. Build positive relationships with customers
Minimum Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar technical support role within the electronics industry
  • Fluent in German and English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in management, computer science, or a technology-related discipline
  • Experience in the fire service industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Professional attitude to work
