We are currently looking for a Field Service Technician for Charging Infrastructure (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible for the Franconia and Upper Palatinate region (Nuremberg, Regensburg, Bayreuth and Amberg area).
This is a remote position with regular travel within the service region.
In this role, you would be responsible for the following tasks:
- You will handle the installation and commissioning of charging infrastructure (AC/DC) on site.
- You will ensure compliance with Daimler quality standards and monitor the technical acceptance of services or installations performed by external service providers.
- You will perform maintenance, servicing and safety inspections on existing charging systems in accordance with DGUV regulations (DIN VDE 0100-600, DIN VDE 0105).
- You will carry out on-site troubleshooting and repairs as defined in the service agreement.
- You will conduct fault and root cause analyses both on site and remotely.
- You will support our customers directly, handle communication in case of malfunctions, ensure active information exchange and help maintain high customer satisfaction.
- You will be responsible for the integration of charging stations into a service backend system.
- You will also handle the commissioning, inspection and maintenance of transformer stations.
Your profile
- You have completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering (a technician or master craftsman qualification is desirable).
- Ideally, you have prior experience in the field of charging infrastructure. If needed, all necessary courses and training will of course be provided as part of the onboarding process.
- You stand out for your high level of independence, customer orientation and solution-oriented approach.
- You bring a high willingness to travel and flexibility, and are prepared to travel regularly within your service area, as well as throughout Germany and internationally if required. Naturally, you will be provided with a company car (also for private use).
- You have very good German language skills and good English skills.
- Ideally, you have experience in initial testing according to VDE 0100 Part 600 and repeat testing according to VDE 0105.
- You hold a switching authorization for medium-voltage switchgear or are willing to obtain this qualification.
