Field Service Technician – Packaging Automation (Mechanical)

West Germany / Rhine-Ruhr Region – Field Based

Are you looking for an opportunity to join an innovative company within the packaging automation industry?

Do you have experience servicing capital equipment and a background in electrical, mechanical or mechatronic engineering?

I am currently representing an established, globally operating company specialising in smart packaging and automation solutions for industries including mailing, printing, textiles, medication, cosmetics and many more. Established in 1980, the company has a turnover of approximately €157 million and is continuing to grow across Europe.

In this role, you will work as a Field Service Technician across West Germany, visiting customer sites to commission, service and troubleshoot automated packaging equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical and primarily, mechanical faults, as well as providing technical support and customer training.

The successful candidate will have previous experience servicing capital equipment, alongside a background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a similar technical discipline.

You will be joining an innovative and growing company that offers extensive internal and external training on their machinery, with strong long-term progression opportunities. Due to continued growth, there is the potential to progress into a Team Leader or Service Manager position within 1–2 years.
