Qualifikationen

  • Erfahrung im Qualitätsmanagement und in der Qualitätstechnik ist erforderlich.
  • Fließende Englischkenntnisse sind notwendig, weitere Sprachen von Vorteil.

Support the Voith Group | Voith Hydro as a

  • Reviews customers' specifications, further legal/statutory requirements (Q related) and compares to Voith Hydro (VH) standards aiming to identify main relationships and differences (if any), ensure proper requirements' management and compliance.
  • Reviews and issues site-specific Quality Plans and documentation (e.g.: Inspection & Test Plans, QS, MGS).
  • Supports the development of site-specific Quality strategies and schedules, ensuring that all relevant quality activities and requirements are considered and are consistent with the strategies.
  • Supports, facilitates, and reviews Site Process FMEAs, verification and validation reports, ensuring proper method application, risk analysis & classification, actions definition, and their implementation.
  • Participates in key project-related meetings (e.g.: Design reviews) providing quality-related input.
  • Ensures through process audits & verifications within VH sites and based on site-specific data analysis that quality is being incorporated in processes.
  • Drives, supports, and facilitates continuous improvement activities within VH sites based on site-specific data analysis.
  • Ensures project lessons learned (positive and negative) are produced and management system changes are implemented, as necessary.
  • Supports, reviews, and releases the Site-specific Quality Data book.
  • Coordinates internal and external (if and when required) inspection personnel according to ITP: NDT, electrical, dimensional.
  • Manages inspections in IT system.
  • Supports the calibration system and measurement systems management at Site.
  • Supports, on demand and based on capabilities, Quality department's tasks & priorities defined by the Quality Engineering Manager & Head of Quality and/or VH Quality.
  • Frequent Business Trips: ~50% of time.

Your profile

  • Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, materials) or equivalent.
  • A postgraduate degree in Business Administration is desirable.
  • Relevant work experience in quality management and quality engineering.
  • Relevant professional experience and knowledge of business processes, as well as in non-quality functions like manufacturing, logistics, engineering, and purchasing.
  • Successful qualification in auditing (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 19011, VDA 6.3).
  • Qualification in electrical, dimensional, and NDT testing.
  • Practical knowledge in using IT-tools: SharePoint, SAP, MS Office, database tracking programs.
  • Good lean management background is an advantage.
  • Management and communication skills (including but not limited to interpersonal, listening, verbal, written, didactic, and presentation skills).
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken, is required (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Strong analytical expertise as well as a results-oriented, solution-driven (pragmatic), and customer-oriented working principle.
  • Experience and willingness to work and cooperate in cross-functional teams.
