Were seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer (m / f / d) based in USA (East) who will serve as the technical point of contact for providing expert customer service, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and emergency response for advanced equipment and systems installed at client sites in the US. This position combines technical expertise with project leadership skills to deliver an exceptional service experience.

  1. You lead onsite troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and preventative maintenance.
  2. You manage and update technical documentation in areas of expertise.
  3. You document all service procedures, parts replacements, diagnostics, error codes, fixes, and site observations in customer files.
  4. You advise clients on equipment care, best practices, and help develop customized maintenance plans.
  5. You assist in testing new products, solutions, and product enhancements, providing feedback to engineering teams.
  6. You are responsible for the transfer of information and training to other service technicians.
  7. You coordinate service tasks with customers.
  8. You organize and maintain an orderly spare parts inventory.
  9. You maintain ongoing direct contact with suppliers' technical teams abroad.
  10. You help peer technicians in the field.
  11. You report quality complaints and safety incidents.

Your profile

  1. Engineering degree (preferably in Electronics or Mechanics).
  2. Based in the US (East).
  3. Minimum 4 years of experience in medical or similar field service.
  4. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
  5. Experience with systems involving electronics and precision mechanics.
  6. Valid driver's license required.
  7. Customer-centric mindset.
  8. Extensive domestic travel within the US required (approx. 70%).
