Job summary

Mühlbauer GmbH & Co. KG is looking for a field service technician to install, maintain and repair production machines at customer sites, starting from the USA. You will travel globally on short- to mid-term assignments and prepare service reports for documentation.

You will also train customers on site, advise on optimizations, and monitor external maintenance teams while ensuring high machine availability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education in electronics, mechatronics, mechanics or similar.

Responsibilities

• Install and service new production plants at customer sites.
• Maintain, service and repair production machines worldwide.
• Create service reports and document customer interactions.
• Consult with customers and provide on-site trainings.
• Coordinate with external maintenance teams and troubleshoot issues.
• Travel worldwide; initial location USA; hold a valid license.

Job description

We are looking to strengthen our team at our site in Roding

• Take over the installation of new plants, the maintenance, servicing and repair of Mühlbauer production machines at our customers' sites
• Within the scope of our product portfolio you will be on short to mid-termed service trips worldwide, mainly to USA
• Creation of service reports and customer documentation
• Customer consulting as well as the implementation of customer trainings on site
• Monitor external maintenance teams, analyze malfunctions and perform troubleshooting
• Completed technical education in field of electronics, mechatronics, mechanics or similar (m/f/d)
• Experience and enjoy working in an industrial environment and can inspire our customers with it
• Very good technical understanding as well as very good mechanical skills
• Experience in maintaining and repairing of industrial machines
• Willingness to travel worldwide / initial location would be USA
• High target and solution orientation
• Good written and spoken English
• Highly pronounced capacity for teamwork
• Driver's license class 3/B
• US visa is an advantage
