Job Description:
  • Responsible for ensuring installation packages of worldwide installation projects are in line with requirements and quality standards.
  • Control calculations and assumptions from bid and ensure realistic field service practices.
  • Adjust FMEA for the specific project and participate in design reviews.
  • Provide feedback to the dispatch department on any disruptions that may occur.
  • Assist with all technical and organizational site issues.
  • Improve equipment designs and mitigate any risks that may arise during installation and commissioning.
Your Profile:
  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable. Several years of experience in the assembly, assembly supervision and/or commissioning of power plant components, ideally in the field of hydropower, area must.
  • Experience in quality and risk management as well as in dealing with assembly personnel and assembly equipment is a plus.
  • An open-minded nature and a confident manner in dealing with customers, suppliers and other project participants as well as a high sense of responsibility.
  • Very good English is required for this position. Further foreign language knowledge such as German, Portuguese and/or Spanish are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide on business (approx. - %) and short construction site assignments.
