Our positions are fundamentally permanent. The initial appointment will be for a fixed term of one year.

YOUR TASKS

• Represent the MTU IGT Field Service on customer sites (worldwide / onshore / offshore)
• Plan and coordinate deployment and execution of field service technicians
• Plan the tools and components needed for maintenance/repair of GE LM2500 / LM6000 industrial gas turbines
• Develop customer-specific maintenance concepts and detailed descriptions of maintenance activities
• Create runtime-based / condition-based repair recommendations
• Conduct vibration analyses on GE LM gas turbine strings and determine balancing measures if necessary
• Inspect and evaluate alignment controls
• Support the recommissioning of gas turbines after long shutdowns or revisions
• Analyze faults related to control and process engineering of gas turbines
• Serve as a technical contact for customers and field service technicians
• Provide remote support, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of the monitored systems
• Analyze gas turbine operating data
• Report to the customer
• Lead and instruct subcontractors
• Be available for on-call duty (hotline - 24/7 weekly basis)

YOUR PROFILE

• Successfully completed studies in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Technology, or equivalent
• Relevant several years of professional experience
• Ideally, knowledge of GE LM series engines and their subsystems
• Extensive experience in operating, commissioning, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of gas turbines
• Fluent in English
