JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our fully electric buses in Germany. This will be in the west and south area of Germany. Within the framework of our partnerships, you will ensure the reliable and efficient operation of Ebusco’s electric buses. You will work closely with our customers and be on-site to handle the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of the vehicles.

THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT…

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the electrical and mechanical components of the vehicles.
• Installing new vehicles and system components and commissioning them.
• Supporting and advising our customers in Southern Germany on all technical matters related to the vehicles and systems.
• Carrying out software updates and adjustments on the vehicles.
• Training the technical staff and drivers of our customers in the operation of the vehicles and their technology.
• Documenting the work performed and reporting to the service team.
• Collaborating closely with the service team and Ebusco’s development department to develop continuous improvements and solutions.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BRING…

• A completed technical education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics, ideally with a specialization in electromobility or commercial vehicles.
• Preferably, a qualification as an electrical specialist (at least Level 2 or 3 according to DGUV V3) or a willingness to acquire this qualification.
• Experience in servicing and maintaining electric vehicles or similar systems is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostic tools, and repair methods.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving issues with electrical and mechanical vehicle components.
• Excellent communication skills and customer orientation, combined with an independent and structured way of working.
• Willingness to travel within west and south Germany, particularly Munich and the surrounding area.
• Very good knowledge of German; English and Dutch language skills are a plus.
