Responsibilities:

• Install, splice, and terminate fiber optic cables to industry standards.
• Perform OTDR testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure proper cable routing, labeling, and secure connections at all points.
• Install and configure IP and analog CCTV cameras, NVRs, and DVRs.
• Set up camera angles, focus, and resolutions to meet client specifications.
• Perform system testing to ensure proper functionality and coverage.
• Conduct site surveys to assess requirements and feasibility.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Provide on-site technical support and training as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Report progress, challenges, and project updates to supervisors regularly.

Skills/Must have:

• Proven experience with fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV installation, including IP camera systems and network configurations.
• Familiarity with network equipment (e.g., switches, routers) and basic networking concepts.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Fiber Optic Technician Certification (e.g., FOA, CFOT).
• CCTV Certification (e.g., ESA/NTS, Hikvision, or Dahua).
• Networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+).
