The Field Engineer will ensure the smooth operation of Wood Mackenzie's wireless sensor network, guaranteeing reliable data collection, calibration, and timely delivery of essential energy information. This role reports to the [supervisor/manager].

Responsibilities include:

• Frequent travel across Europe and Asia
• On-site maintenance of wireless sensors
• Installation of sensors at new locations in collaboration with team members
• Calibration of data collected from devices
• Identifying suitable sites for monitoring devices, obtaining permissions from landowners
• Researching and gathering data on energy infrastructure

Ideal candidate for this role if you:

• Are highly motivated, organized, and enjoy outdoor work alone
• Are an excellent communicator
• Enjoy a mix of travel and remote work
• Have hands-on technical skills
• Are comfortable negotiating easements and lease agreements with landowners

Minimum requirements:
