Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for Shockwave Medical Inc. a Field Clinical Specialist IVL (d/f/m), to be located in Frankfurt area, Germany.

Description

The Field Clinical Specialist provides case support to physicians within designated territories, supporting peripheral and coronary interventional procedures in both pre-market and post-market phases of product development with Shockwave Medical Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) technology. The role also involves supporting clinical studies, including device training, case support, and data collection.

Essential Job Functions

  • Physician and hospital staff training, and procedural case coverage to ensure the safe and effective use of medical devices.
  • Meet the needs of internal and external customers with urgency and drive.
  • Present clinical study training materials based on investigational plans, including study protocols, instructions for use, core lab manuals, and case report forms.
  • Manage key study investigators, fostering strong relationships with medical advisors and clinical leaders.
  • Collaborate with clinical research colleagues to meet business needs, including site re-training, data collection, and issue resolution.
  • Handle administrative activities such as training, territory travel, and budget management.
  • Develop therapy in target accounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, nursing, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years supporting interventional or surgical procedures in a hospital setting or 1 year in industry, hospital-based life sciences, or sales support; cardiovascular industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of clinical research, GCP, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience collaborating with regulatory agencies.
  • Product knowledge including vigilance and reporting.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Budgeting knowledge, critical thinking, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • High energy, results-oriented, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently or in teams.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
