What You Will Do The Field Applications Scientist will primarily focus on leveraging advanced software tools to design and implement laboratory automation workflows with a specific emphasis on data-centric solutions.

This role will work on integrating the Green Button Go software suite with customer infrastructures to streamline automation workflows for biological/pharmacological research, clinical diagnostics, and academic studies.

The Field Applications Scientist collaborates closely with customers, the Solutions Architect team, and the Applications team to understand workflow requirements and build customized automation solutions utilizing Green Button Go Scheduler and Orchestrator software modules.

Candidates should reside in Frankfurt, Germany Essential Responsibilities Design, implement, and integrate automation workflows using the Green Button Go Scheduler and Orchestrator software.

Serve as a technical lead, collaborating with customers to understand their workflow needs and define software requirements for automation solutions.

Work with customers to gather and understand specifications for data infrastructure, integrating LIMS/LMS with Green Button Go to ensure smooth data exchange.

Collaborate with the Applications team and Solutions Architects to identify the primary data infrastructure needs and develop a comprehensive implementation plan.

Develop detailed documentation, including acceptance criteria, system design, and risk assessments, to ensure successful project execution.

Act as a conduit for transferring customer feedback to product development teams, contributing to continuous improvement of Biosero’s software solutions.

Participate in customer training, ensuring users are equipped to maximize the value of Green Button Go in their automation workflows.

Manage and mitigate any risks associated with automation solution implementation, ensuring customer satisfaction and system reliability.

Travel as needed, including internationally to US and UK (preplanned travel), to assist with deployment, training, and customer support.

Experience and Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Molecular and Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related subjects Advanced degrees and specialization may be beneficial but not required Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a technical role focused on laboratory automation, data integration, or software development, preferably in a life sciences or biotechnology environment.

Solid understanding of automation workflows, LIMS/LMS, and data infrastructure in the context of laboratory automation.

Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and tight timelines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to a wide range of audiences.

Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to drive project success.

Hands-on experience with Green Button Go software or similar workflow automation platforms.

Familiarity with relational (SQL Server) and non-relational databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB) and data interchange formats.

Prior experience working in or with laboratory environments, especially in biological or pharmacological research settings, is highly beneficial.

Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) and understanding of SaaS, multi- tenancy, and cloud architecture principles.

Ability to travel internationally to the UK, US, and throughout the EU.
