We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to support our customers in Germany, focusing on Analog and Power Products.

As a Field Applications Engineer, you will act as a key technical advisor, bridging your customer and internal divisions to support a wide range of applications. Your main goal is to generate new business through proactive design and development support that addresses customer challenges.

You will collaborate closely with the Account Manager, Digital FAE, and Connectivity FAE to build strong customer relationships.

Your responsibilities include promoting the complete analog and power portfolio, including interfaces, power management, sensors, and timing solutions.

You will provide technical expertise to develop Renesas revenues, working with the Sales team and distribution network.

Take ownership of demand creation to mass production, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and business drive.

Develop a solid technical understanding of our products and solutions.

Travel within your assigned territory to engage with customers and distributors.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills with a team-player mindset; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Curious and eager to stay updated with technological advances and customer developments.
• Preferably up to three years of relevant experience or fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and an interest in circuit design.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering with knowledge of Analog and Power Management applications.
• Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address customer needs proactively.
• Strategic and commercial thinking for efficient design planning.
• Ability to identify key projects and recommend solutions.
• Independent work capability, analytical skills, and self-motivation.
• Proficiency in German and English, with mobility for travel.
