We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to support our customers in North and West Germany, including the Netherlands, focusing on Analog and Power Products.

As a Field Applications Engineer, you will act as a key technical advisor, bridging your customers and internal divisions, supporting a wide range of customer applications. Your main goal is to secure new business through proactive, in-depth design and development support that addresses customer challenges.

You will work closely with the Account Manager, Digital FAE, and Connectivity FAE to build strong customer relationships.

You will promote the full analog and power portfolio, including interfaces, power management, sensors, and timing solutions.

Provide technical expertise and support to enhance Renesas revenues, collaborating with the Sales team and distribution network.

Take ownership and be entrepreneurial, managing business opportunities from demand creation to mass production.

Develop a solid technical understanding of our products and solutions.

Travel within your territory to visit customers and distributors.

Qualifications

We seek someone with strong technical skills, a team-player mindset, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Curiosity and eagerness to stay updated with technological advances and customer developments are essential. Sharing knowledge, taking initiative, and assessing risks thoughtfully are important traits.

Preferably up to three years of relevant experience, or recent graduates with strong technical knowledge and an interest in circuit design.

A degree in Electrical Engineering with knowledge of Analog and Power Management applications is required.

Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or similar is desirable.

Strong problem-solving skills to align customer needs with resources through proactive approaches.

Strategic and commercial thinking to plan and execute efficient designs for target customers.

Ability to identify key projects and recommend solutions.

Independent work capability, analytical skills, and self-motivation are necessary.

Proficiency in German and English, along with mobility, are key requirements.
