Job Title: Field Application Engineer

We are seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our European Channel Sales team. This position is home office-based, preferably in Germany, with close collaboration with channel partners across Europe. The role involves providing technical expertise through presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of our products. Frequent travel across Europe is expected. The role primarily supports Allegro’s channel partners and customers in Central Europe, as well as other European countries.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as the primary technical contact for our channel partners, addressing all technical inquiries.
2. Support design reviews and provide all necessary product information and documentation.
3. Collaborate closely with Allegro’s channel sales staff and partners to assess potential applications of our products to meet customer needs.
4. Prepare detailed product presentations for the development and implementation of customer applications and solutions.
5. Engage in regular technical discussions with channel customers to understand their requirements, market trends, and application architectures, coordinating with engineering and marketing to generate design wins.
6. Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, guiding customers from initial idea through sample stages to production.
7. Disseminate technical information and provide follow-up support to management and channel customers.
8. Conduct site visits and participate in events such as QBRs and BDDs to promote design-in opportunities and demand generation.
9. Support and participate in fairs, events, trainings, and workshops across Europe.
10. Present technical seminars and workshops related to Allegro’s technologies.
11. Represent and understand Allegro’s technological offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, with experience as an FAE in a relevant field.
• Ability to conceptualize solutions and influence technical decision-makers.
• Strong understanding of the automotive and industrial sectors.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering impactful technical presentations.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.
• Languages: German and English are mandatory; Italian and/or French are a plus.
