Field Application Engineer (m/w/d)

As a key player in the Connection Systems team, you’ll take ownership of critical tasks, driving impact through customer engagement and collaboration with internal teams. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Customer Engagement: Conduct face-to-face visits, showcasing technical documentation, product information, and portfolio solutions, while increasing our brand presence across the market.
2. Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with the CS Account Manager (Distribution), Product Engineering, and Product Line Management to drive strategic growth initiatives.
3. Focus on the customer: Foster a strong relationship with our leading distributors and top-tier customers in the transportation and adjacent markets.
4. Innovate Sales Tools: Spearhead the development of modern technical sales tools, product documentation, and the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to streamline our market presence.
5. Expand Product Range: Strengthen our distribution portfolio in traditional interconnects, while expanding the HV connector and HV assembly product lines.
6. Holistic Solution Approach: Promote the full interconnect solution, including headers, female connectors, and related terminals, offering customers a comprehensive product suite.
7. Information Flow Management: Ensure seamless coordination of internal and external information to guarantee that our distribution customers and internal teams receive the support they need.
8. Technical Training: Provide Inside Sales training to enhance technical service capabilities and ensure excellence in customer support.
9. Collaborate Globally: Engage with Engineering teams in India for OTS support, fostering cross-functional teamwork across regions.

Your Background:

1. A degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
2. At least 2 years of experience in the Transportation Industry preferably in the connector business.
3. Excellent communication skills in both English and Italian.
4. A self-driven, motivated personality with a passion for learning and collaborating across multiple functions and locations.
