Job Description: Field Application Engineer (m / f / d) - Raum Stuttgart

Westhouse is a leading international recruitment agency specializing in sourcing highly qualified experts in fields such as IT lifecycle management, SAP, engineering, commerce, and specialist consultancy.

We are currently seeking a Field Application Engineer (m / f / d) for our client in the Stuttgart area. The role involves:

1. Having knowledge of electronics, mechanics, spectral measurement systems, imaging systems, and computer systems.
2. Performing advanced, total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of designated equipment.
3. Mechanical skills for installing sensor modules in larger sorting machines in metal scrap yards and repairing sensor modules at Ocean Optics in Ostfildern.
4. Applying analytical skills with a logical and step-by-step approach.
5. Testing machinery to ensure it can carry out desired functions and performing data analysis using statistical tools.
6. Providing training to end users and adapting equipment to specific job applications using technical knowledge.
7. Overseeing installation to ensure machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
8. Setting schedules for procedures and maintenance tasks to maintain equipment in optimal condition.
9. Providing technical information and training to workers in other departments as needed.
10. Maintaining administrative responsibilities such as customer service logs and internal service records.
11. Providing reports on equipment functionality and acting as a technical liaison through daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
