European Tech Recruit is assisting a client – a sensor technology specialist – in finding an experienced Field Application Engineer to join Europe-wide Sales & Marketing. You will bridge customers, distributors, and internal teams, supporting sensor solutions from evaluation through to design-in and production.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar field-facing technical role, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, and German language proficiency (C1).

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years in Field Applications, Applications Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of sensor technologies and their applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot at both system and component level.
• Experience with OEM customers, design-in cycles, and distribution partners.
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused and commercially aware.
• C1-level German is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.

• Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
• Travel regularly across Europe.
