Aufgabenbereich / Responsibilities:
Serves as a firefighter in a U.S. Army Garrison Fire Department, providing emergency response for multiple sites involving diverse fire hazards such as flammable liquids, explosives, WMD, radioactive materials, and other hazards in various facilities. The firefighter responds to emergencies, participates in hazardous material responses, and collaborates with host nation fire departments, requiring knowledge of their policies and procedures.

Qualifikationen / Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include E&T Level I (lower secondary school) and German certification as a basic firefighter. Additional certifications in accordance with US Forces Fire Prevention Program, NEMT, and DoD certifications are required. Valid driver's license class B is mandatory; class C is required or must be obtained within two years. English B1 and German C1 language skills are necessary.

Weitere Anforderungen / Additional Requirements:
Physical fitness, ability to lift heavy objects, medical examinations, and willingness to perform shift work, on-call duties, and occasional travel are required.
