E.ON Inhouse Consulting in Essen offers an exclusive 8-12 week internship designed for women. You will join a consulting team, receive dedicated mentoring, and benefit from structured onboarding with exposure to top management and real client work.

We provide tailored coaching, mentoring, networking through [e-mail], a hybrid work model, and a strong growth focus for your professional and personal development. Fluent English and German are required.

What You’ll do

You will be a fully-fledged member of our team of consultants in Essen for a period of 8-12 weeks and take on responsibility for a number of demanding tasks while receiving special support and guidance from our female colleagues. If the collaboration proves to be a success for both sides, we’d be happy to welcome you back after your studies – this time not as an intern, but as a consultant.

• As a member of an international team, you will support our consultants in analyzing and working on the challenges of the energy sector
• Working hand-in-hand with your colleagues, you will develop strategic and operational solutions for E.ON: you will derive recommendations for action and create presentations for the E.ON Inhouse Consulting management team
• Direct communication and cooperation with your customers round off a multifaceted assignment profile

What You’ll need to Succeed

• You are an outstanding academic performer with a background in Economics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, (Business) Informatics or a related field, currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree or taking a gap year
• You are fluent in English and German (C1)
• You have already gained some basic hands‑on experience providing you with initial insights into the consulting sector and/or energy industry
• You have an affinity for numbers and a pronounced capacity for analytic thinkingYour precise, structured communication skills let you win others over easily
