E.ON Inhouse Consulting in Essen is seeking an intern for an 8–12 week program. You will join a global team, work with senior consultants, and handle challenging tasks on priority topics in the energy sector.
You will gain hands-on experience, with the possibility of returning as a consultant after your studies. The role emphasizes structured onboarding, training, and direct exposure to top management in a collaborative, flexible environment.
We are E.ON Inhouse Consulting - the trusted advisor to the top leadership of E.ON and one of the driving forces behind Europe's energy transition.
We work on the topics that matter most. From shaping the digital energy ecosystem and unlocking flexibility for millions of households to driving GenAI transformation and building smarter grids. Across 1.6 million kilometers of energy networks for 47 million customers. And we don't stop at strategy. We stay through implementation - side by side with senior leaders and frontline teams, turning ambition into action.
You'll take on responsibility and drive real change from day one. You'll grow fast through structured onboarding, continuous training, regular feedback, and direct exposure to top management - accelerating your path to leadership positions within consulting or across the entire E.ON Group. You'll be part of a culture where diverse perspectives and strong collaboration drive outstanding results. Where your ideas matter more than titles. Success is celebrated together, plus flexibility, well-being support, and competitive rewards enable you to thrive - professionally and personally.
As an intern, you will be a fully-fledged member of our team of consultants in Essen for a period of 8-12 weeks and take on responsibility for a number of demanding tasks. You will be working independently on some of E.ON's top priority topics - actively contributing to the success of your project. If the collaboration proves to be a success for both sides, we’d be happy to welcome you back after your studies - this time not as an intern, but as a consultant.
