Jobbeschreibung

Job Title: Family Advocacy Assistant

Place of Performance: Building 322 ACS Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany.

Schedule: Full Time - Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Basic Services: The Employee shall perform functions within the scope of this PWS for forty (40) hours per week. The Employee shall provide instructions/services and administrative support within the ACS FAP Program.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology from an accredited university.
  • Experience in teaching adults or children.
Tasks:

The Employee shall provide briefings and classes, including but not limited to the following, with the possibility of changes due to new guidance or community needs:

  1. Family Advocacy Program Overview Briefing: Approximately 120 sessions, delivered weekly at the In-processing Training Center (ITC) as part of orientation for incoming troops and family members at USAG Bavaria, Grafenwoehr Military Community. This briefing introduces newcomers to their new post.
  2. Family Advocacy Program Unit Troop Brief: Approximately 86 sessions annually, required per AR 608-18. Each session lasts about one hour, covering child abuse, domestic violence prevention, and community resources.
  3. Community Outreach: Approximately 30 sessions, including informational tables at various community locations and attendance at community events as scheduled.
  4. Baby Bootcamp: 12 sessions, each a seven-hour course for expectant parents, including setup and coordination with instructors and resource providers.
  5. Marriage Enrichment Education Group: 12 sessions, each two hours, facilitating discussions and connecting participants with community resources.
  6. Parent-Child Education Group: 120 sessions, each 1.5 hours, focusing on parenting strategies through play and engagement, with planning and facilitation by the Employee.
