A leading company in the aviation sector is seeking a Quality Engineer in Hamburg. This role involves ensuring compliance with quality standards, managing non-conformance reports, and contributing to root cause analysis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies, along with a Bachelor's degree. Opportunities for travel to international locations are included.
Located in Hamburg, in the vicinity of Airbus Final Assembly Line, the Quality Assurance engineer missions are:
• Ensure the conformity to SAFRAN LS processes and specifications of all actions in FAL
• Monitor SAFRAN LS FAL Personnel qualification
• Ensure operational interface with Customers' quality and/or Operational for main NC's
o Negotiate responsibilities for all NCR detected at the FAL
o Represents SAFRAN LS on a day to day basis
• Manage Non Conformance Report to OEM
• Contribute to root cause analysis/troubleshooting
• Efficiently communicate information allowing Safran Landing Systems to understand and
analyze the disturbances and irritants at the FAL, whatever is the cause.
• Contribute to 8D related to product non conformities impacting FAL
• Lead actions to reduce the number of irritants at FAL (even Customer's one)
Audit focal point
Engineer or Bac + 5, you have a solid knowledge of:
- Standard EN9100
- PART21G regulations
- Quality tools and continuous improvement (8D, referential documentary)
- Willingness and ease to embrace innovation and change in the technological landscape : Power BI, IA
- FAL environment and A320 program knowledge would be a plus

Proficiency in English
FAL Quality Assurance interfaces with :
the Technical Assistance teams at the FAL,
the Quality Production functions of the sites,
the Quality Program functions,
the Supply Chain and Engineering functions.
Some travels need to be planned to go to:
- Toulouse (France) (3 per year)
- Tianjin (China) (1 per year)
- Gloucester (2 per year)
