Job Description

Located in Hamburg, near Airbus Final Assembly Line, the Quality Assurance Engineer's missions include:

1. Ensuring conformity to SAFRAN LS processes and specifications at the FAL
2. Monitoring SAFRAN LS FAL personnel qualifications
3. Managing operational interfaces with customers' quality and operational teams for main NCs, including negotiating responsibilities for all NCRs detected at the FAL and representing SAFRAN LS on a day-to-day basis
4. Managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to OEM
5. Contributing to root cause analysis and troubleshooting
6. Communicating information effectively to help Safran Landing Systems understand and analyze disturbances at the FAL
7. Contributing to 8D reports related to product non-conformities impacting the FAL
8. Leading actions to reduce irritants at the FAL, including customer-related issues
9. Acting as audit focal point

Job Requirements

The candidate should have an Engineer degree or Bac +5 with solid knowledge of:

• EN9100 standard
• PART21G regulations
• Quality tools and continuous improvement methods (8D, documentation standards)
• Willingness to embrace innovation and technological changes such as Power BI and AI
• FAL environment and A320 program knowledge is a plus

Additional Information

Transverse management skills are required. Proficiency in English is mandatory. The FAL Quality Assurance team interfaces with:

• Technical Assistance teams at the FAL
• Quality production functions across sites
• Quality program functions
• Supply Chain and Engineering functions

Travel requirements include trips to:

• Toulouse, France (3 times/year)
• Tianjin, China (once/year)
• Gloucester (twice/year)
