Lawo AG in Rastatt, Germany, is seeking a Factory Project Commissioning Engineer EU (m/f/x) to enable global production and broadcast through system configuration and commissioning. You will troubleshoot Lawo systems across audio, video, and network domains and support inventory in the Project area.

The role requires Linux server expertise, containerized microservers, Docker, and strong communication in English and German in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Education in broadcast, audio/video or a related field.
• Solid Network/IT knowledge including multicast/unicast network services and broadcast standards such as SMPTE 2110, NDI etc.
• Linux server expertise as well as knowledge of containerized microservers and Docker.
• Experience in broadcast environment, on-air broadcast operations, workflows and IP-Systems.
• Desire to deliver service excellence and strong communication skills in English and German.

Aufgaben

• Provide system solutions that span the globe for high-quality production and broadcast.
• Factory configuration and troubleshooting of Lawo systems (Audio, Video and Network).
• Maintain and support inventory for the Factory Project Commissioning area.
• Customer project commissioning and troubleshooting onsite or remote for Audio/Video systems.
• Collaborate with Lawo teams inside and outside the professional services group.
• Documentation for internal and customer use.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide system solutions that span the globe, enabling the production and broadcast of media content at a high-quality level, leading to business growth, profitability and customer success
• Factory configuration and troubleshooting of Lawo systems (Audio, Video and Network) fulfilling customer workflow and system standards
• Maintain and support inventory for the Factory Project Commissioning area
• Customer project commissioning and troubleshooting, onsite or remote when required for Audio/Video systems
• Work closely with other Lawo teams, inside and outside of the professional services group
• Documentation (Lawo internal, and for the customer if needed)

YOUR PROFILE

• Education in broadcast, audio/video or a related field
• Solid Network/IT knowledge including multicast/unicast network services and broadcast standards such as SMPTE 2110, NDI etc.
• Linux server expertise as well as knowledge of containerized microservers and Docker
• Experience in broadcast environment, on-air broadcast operations, workflows and IP-Systems
• Desire to deliver service excellence
• Structured way of working an logical approach to problem-solving
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an engaging and professional way of interacting with colleagues and customers
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, agile environment
• English and German language is a must, other languages are an asset
