Job Description:

We are looking on behalf of our client, a global real estate company with offices in over 30 countries and more than 20 years of experience in the market, for a new team member to join their Property Management team as an Operation Property Manager Germany.

Facilities Operations Manager Germany (m/f/d) Düsseldorf

Key Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing maintenance and technical operations of managed properties across Germany to ensure efficiency and quality.
2. Coordinating resource management to minimize downtime and optimize operations.
3. Implement measures to improve resource efficiency and environmental sustainability.
4. Evaluate and manage service providers (security, cleaning, maintenance) to ensure cost-effectiveness.
5. Collaborate with local authorities to maintain safety standards.
6. Lead the assessment and approval of tenant construction projects.
7. Monitor and analyse maintenance reports to identify and address issues.
8. Support the SHE management system in compliance with best practices and legal standards.
9. Train and support teams in implementing SHE practices and managing external audits.

Your Profile:

1. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Safety/Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail property management or a similar field.
3. Strong knowledge of operational management, legal regulations, and safety standards.
4. Experience with environmental and energy management systems and BREEAM or LEED certifications.
5. Proven ability to work with service providers and contractors to meet agreed service levels.
6. Fluent in English and German, with strong MS Office skills.
