Join EY-Parthenon: Shaping the Future of Strategic Consulting

Are you ready to shape your future with confidence? Do you want more than pure strategy consulting? Are you interested in deepening your involvement beyond traditional M&A? At EY-Parthenon, you will support CEOs, executives, and private equity firms in transaction-based transformations, from initial strategic ideas to successful implementation. You will work on pioneering projects across various industries, from realignment and strategy optimization to transformative deals and restructuring. Using data-driven insights and targeted AI technologies, you will open new markets, drive growth, and develop corporate and capital strategies that make a real difference.

Our Financial Services team focuses on supporting banks, insurance companies, and asset managers to succeed in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment.

Your Role in Frankfurt/Main or Munich

You will evaluate and analyze companies, financial instruments, and intangible assets (such as customer relationships between financial institutions and their clients). You will advise global players in banking and insurance, private equity firms, payment providers, asset managers, emerging and established FinTechs, and industry captives on topics like purchase price determination and strategic option valuation. Your responsibilities include:

  • Assessing the entire spectrum of financial service providers across the transaction cycle in one of the most challenging and dynamic industries
  • Understanding the full range of business models and market trends in financial services, with opportunities to develop a niche in company valuation
  • Questioning key assumptions in industry-defining transactions and restructuring, with your analyses directly influencing client decisions and strategic discussions with top management
  • Working independently with capital market data providers like S&P Market Intelligence, ThomsonONE, and Bloomberg, and gaining insights into current market dynamics using tools like PowerBI or proprietary solutions
  • Valuating and visualizing credit portfolios (e.g., Real Estate, Shipping, Aviation) in portfolio transactions using advanced data analytics solutions

Qualifications:

  • Completed degree in Economics, (Business) Mathematics, (Business) Informatics, or a related field, with a passion for the financial industry
  • Practical experience (internship or working student role) is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (minimum C1 level)
Your Mindset
  • Agile: You believe that flexible thinking is as important as knowledge and skills for success.
  • Curious: You are ambitious and dedicated, thinking in opportunities rather than challenges, and asking targeted questions to find better solutions.
  • Team-Oriented: You value diverse perspectives and enjoy working in teams. You aim to achieve together and foster a trusting work environment.

At EY-Parthenon, you will work in high-performing, interdisciplinary teams using innovative technologies. We support you in a flexible and inclusive work environment, offering training and development opportunities both on and off the job. Join us for a steep learning curve and the chance to grow your skills. Learn more about our benefits.
