Qualifikationen

• 5+ Jahre Beratungserfahrung in einer Top-Consulting-Firma mit Schwerpunkt auf Life Sciences.
• Fortgeschrittener Abschluss in Biotechnologie oder verwandten Bereichen.

Your Role

This is a unique opportunity to step into an entrepreneurial position that combines a dual responsibility: leading Ignition Labs through impactful projects in the healthcare sector as well as mentoring the next wave of Techbio pioneers. The essential part of this role is to build up Ignition Labs to become a massive and impactful European category leader and the first contact address for the next generation of highly ambitious TechBio ventures.

1. Lead Ignition Labs, fostering its growth as a leading innovation platform for Techbio start-ups and creating a European category leader.
2. Manage the Ignition Labs program from an operations point of view.
3. Lead consulting projects in the life science sector with a focus on innovation, artificial intelligence and data.
4. Enable a match between relevant high-potential ideas, data sets, and founders.
5. Mentor and manage a team of 1-2 TechBio innovation strategists, ensuring high-quality delivery of consultancy projects, cultivating a collaborative team culture.
6. Identify and recruit potential future team members aligned with the growth of the business.
7. Identify and build strategic partnerships with pharma companies, academic institutions, hospitals, data providers, etc.
8. Build trusted relationships with clients, experts, and start-ups across healthcare and Techbio ecosystems to leverage synergies and create value.
9. Identify and mentor start-ups with disruptive potential in Techbio applying AI technologies to solve life science problems.
10. Evaluate start-ups’ tech and market fit, ensuring alignment with trends and opportunities in the broader Techbio landscape.
11. Facilitate connections between start-ups, investors and other key stakeholders.
12. Act as an entrepreneur continuously improving & developing the Ignition program.

Your Skillset

1. 5+ years consulting experience in a top-tier consulting firm with focus on life sciences and technologies.
2. Tech-Savvy mindset with strong understanding of emerging technologies such as AI and data science.
3. Strategic problem-solver with outstanding analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to develop trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
5. Team player with proven ability to lead small teams, manage projects, and inspire collaboration.
6. Passion for start-ups and innovation. Hands-on experience in venture building or start-up mentoring is a plus.
7. Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
8. Education: Advanced degree in biotechnology, medicine, computer science, bioinformatics, biochemistry, life sciences, or a related field (MBA, PhD, or MD preferred).
