Position: Export Control Manager (f/m/div.)

As an Export Control Manager, you will ensure compliance with export control regulations based on the entity's risk profile, and implement and monitor global standards and procedures.

• Identify required changes to business models to ensure legal compliance related to export control, tariffs, and permanent establishment law.
• Align these changes and globally defined processes with internal stakeholders, legal advisors, and ensure their implementation.
• Define mitigation strategies within a legal framework to overcome strategic risks, collaborating closely with business responsible teams.
• Supervise the implementation of export control procedures regionally and locally, including classification and application of export controls based on EU and US law, conduct diligence checks on business partners, and train employees in market-facing functions.
• Support contract management and legal validation for sales and purchasing, and engage in reporting to authorities during audits.

Personality and Qualifications

• Excellent collaboration skills, result orientation, and clear communication.
• Technical knowledge of export control and sanctions compliance, with professional experience in foreign trade.
• Demonstrated knowledge of export controls, classification, tariff legislation, and business law; experience in semiconductors is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous.
