Job Description:

Become part of our team as an Export Control Compliance Manager with responsibility for compliance with global export control regulations and policies.

You will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the requirements for the Global Standards and Procedures within your area of responsibility.

You will serve as the main contact for all Export Control related questions in Germany.

Support internal & external audits and actively monitor national export control law changes.

Utilize your knowledge for export control classification based on US, EU, and national law (dual use and military) and license determination and application.

Continuously monitor business activities, focusing on circumvention, and review and approve business models or transactions.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Completed university degree in Business Administration, Business Law, or a comparable subject.
  • Experience and Knowledge: Proven knowledge of export controls and professional experience in foreign trade; familiarity with ERP systems and strong IT proficiency (Office, SAP, etc.).
  • Personality and Working Practice: Confident, dependable team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong compliance mindset; intercultural experience; structured, quality-driven, and results-oriented work style; strong analytical skills.
  • Work Routine: Flexible and mobile working, with 2-3 days per week on-site.
  • Languages: Business fluent in written and spoken English and German.
Remuneration and Benefits:

The gross annual salary is at least 117,000 EUR for a 40-hour week, dependent on experience. Additional benefits include bonuses, pension plan, flexible work arrangements, health and sports activities, childcare services, employee discounts, creative work space, and social counseling.
