Export Control Compliance Manager (f/m/div.) (Salary: ~117.000 p.a.*)

Job Description

• Become part of our team as Export Control Compliance Manager with responsibility for compliance with global export control regulations and policies.
• Implement and monitor the requirements for the Global Standards and Procedures within your area of responsibility.
• Provide consulting on all Export Control related questions in Germany.
• Support internal and external audits and actively monitor changes in national export control laws.
• Use your knowledge for export control classification based on US, EU, and national law (dual use and military) and handle license determination and application.
• Continuously monitor business activities, focusing on circumvention, and review and approve business models or transactions.

Qualifications

• Education: Completed university degree in Business Administration, Business Law, or a comparable subject.
• Experience and Knowledge: Proven knowledge of export controls, professional experience in foreign trade, familiarity with ERP systems, and strong IT skills (Office, SAP, etc.).
• Personality and Work Practice: Confident and dependable team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong compliance mindset; intercultural experience; structured, quality-driven, results-oriented work style; strong analytical skills.
• Work Routine: Flexible and mobile work environment; 2-3 days per week onsite.
• Languages: Business fluent in written and spoken English and German.

*The gross annual salary for this position is at least 117,000 EUR for a 40-hour week, full year, and meeting company eligibility requirements. Salary depends on experience.
