Responsibilities

• Review complex construction documents for the manufacturing and equipment of submarine sections and independently ensure technical feasibility in collaboration with interface partners (e.g., design, procurement, construction supervision, IT).
• Serve as a technical contact and support the manufacturing and outfitting of submarine sections.
• Develop basic technical production sequences and check for potential disruptions in planning.
• Create work instructions to ensure quality standards and conduct specialized training.
• Assist in rough planning of work preparation, project costing, and participate in projects.
• Lead projects related to the creation of Q-reports and error analyses.
• Provide technical advice on occupational safety.
• Define specialized qualification profiles and coordinate these with other masters (m/f/d).

Profile

• Completed vocational training as an industrial or craft master (m/f/d) in the field of metal or an equivalent qualification as a welding master or welding specialist.
• Knowledge in processing stainless/chrome-nickel steels.
• Several years of experience in submarine construction, shipbuilding, or similar, with process knowledge in shipbuilding and submarine construction.
• Excellent organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
• High initiative, assertiveness, and improvisation skills.
• Conceptual thinking and creativity, with the ability to develop technical and operational innovations independently.
