The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.

How You Will CELLebrate

1. Bottom-Up costing for Cathode Active Material (CAM) Production
2. Cost Estimation for key equipments of CAM production
3. Design-to-Cost for CAM production process incl. equipment
4. Identification of technical and commercial levers in CAM material design and manufacturing
5. Value chain analysis and optimization from raw material processing to CAM production
6. Negotiation support for CAM purchasing projects
7. Support for JV-Activities (i.e. Cost levers in Business Modells)

What You Need For Our CELLebration

1. Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree in electrochemistry/ chemistry or similar education
2. Experience in: Process & equipment engineering of chemical plants, equipment and project cost estimation und optimization
3. Equipment / process engineering, costing methods, especially Invest
4. In depth understanding of Cathode Material and Li-Ion Cell Technology
5. Language: English fluent, German Basic Communication
6. Analytical skills as well as negotiation Skills
